My leg didn’t feel quite as bad today, but I called my chiropractor and got in to see him this afternoon.
I am very glad that I did.
He adjusted my back, my knee and my ankle. He said that he thinks that somehow it just got out of alignment and that is enough to cause all the pain I’ve been experiencing the last two days. Then they taped up the side of my leg to help with the pain and to help it heal.
The tape should stay on for about five days or so. So now I’m going to suffer through some rest days. I am going to think positively and enjoy the rest. I am going back on Wednesday and Thursday to see my chiropractor. I am hoping to be off the injured reserve list as soon as possible.
Great blog. I always say that using any natural methods to improve ones health and wellness is great. Especially when it comes to the body handling stress. Reiki is one of those great methods.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great! Chiropractors do the treatment by using hands-on ‘manipulation’ that would enable the body to heal without surgery. It would restore the mobility of joints, bones and connective tissue. Keep up on being positive about your condition. The state of our minds matters and reflects our being in a lot of ways.

I hope everything is well for you now. Don’t forget to still visit your chiropractor once in a while to have checkups. Asking help for wrong posture, or any lingering pain, or whether you’re just visiting to be sure you have a clean bill of health, is certainly welcome, since your wellness should always be a top priority.

The mind can indeed play a big role in the healing of certain injuries. A healthy and strong mind, along with a healthy body, can speed up one’s journey to recovery. Did the pain ever occur again? A little stretching and exercise everyday will help keep the bones agile. I hope you’re doing fine now. :)
